To achieve the feel of a live concert hall performance, each instrument and section was recorded with three mic positions: close, stage (conductor‘s position) and hall. By selecting different mic positions, you can mix these sounds together to create virtually any placement or level of depth desired. This all but eliminates the need for artificial reverb, drastically cutting down on the amount of time you spend getting your ambience settings just right. Every major adjustable feature can be controlled from a single interface, including reverb, mic positions, filtering, and section volume. Recorded in the same concert hall as EastWest’s Symphonic Orchestra, these two blend together cohesively to form a powerful set of tools to recreate a large-scale ensemble in any song. Symphonic Choirs gives you the ability to separately control every section of a conventional chorus, with the addition of a boys choir. Created with film and video game composers in mind, the adjustable mic positions allow you to easily design the exact stereo image that will have the maximum impact on your mixes.

Have any lyrics sung by a choirs- The versatile Wordbuilder present in Symphonic Choirs can reproduce virtually any words typed into it and play them back seamlessly with the power and grandeur of any entire chorus. You can type single words or entire phrases into the interface and control the exact length of each component sound (consonants, vowels, etc.) in a dedicated timeline. The greatest utility of this library is the ability to have incredibly fine control over every aspect of the vocal performance.

As Wordbuilder is completely phonetic, it can be used to assemble phrases in any language of your choosing, and you’re even free to “create” your own language if you choose! This feature is particularly useful for film and game composers: there’s a drop-down menu that includes popular pre-built phrases that you can load instantly, making this the ideal library for composers on a tight deadline. The phrases have been optimized for each Choir.
