The Pfaff Creative Ambition 640 machine is a combination sewing, embroidery quilting machine with an embroidery surface size of 240 x 150 mm. This machine is unique from other brands with built-in IDT top feed system, which is suitable for sewing multiple layers, light, slippery and heavy materials. This very richly equipped machine offers 450 sewing programs, 150 stitches, 2 types of alphabet, 101 original Pfaff embroidery patterns and automatic thread trimming. It includes a program that allows you to edit embroideries and create fonts on your PC and then save them to the machine's memory. Patterns and stitches can be easily rotated in steps of even 1 degree. The machine includes an embroidery unit. This is an additional part that expands the work surface, allows for attachment of the embroidery frame and embroidery. Without the embroidery unit on the machine, you cannot embroider, only sew as on a classic sewing machine. The machine has Czech controls and Slovak instructions.

Original IDT system - Integrated dual feeding / transport - patented system of Pfaff - absolutely uniform feeding of fabric from above and below, excellent for delicate and very heavy materials in several layers, prevents multiple layers of materials from shifting between each other. You will use the same when sewing, when the IDT system can work in reverse and the material is evenly moved back and again forward. You don't have to buy a less efficient foot that doesn't have that much power. The system can be easily turned on or off.

You use the IDT system when sewing specific thin materials that slide during stitching, and at the end of stitching, the material moves against you. Further, when sewing several layers, when you put padding between the material. Only the lower feed cannot cope with this material and the lower material shifts, while the upper one remains standing and shrinks.

The IDT system moves the upper and lower material and can also move the filling with pressure. You will also use the IDT system for materials that do not slip on the heel. Again, poor feed occurs when the bottom feed is unable to advance the material even when you manually increase the presser foot pressure. The IDT system grabs the material from below and from the top without any problems and moves the material evenly. This ensures a perfect stitch, without skipping. You will appreciate this especially with more expensive materials, or when sewing leather, leatherette, which cannot be repaired by steaming, because the needle will already damage the Prosek material.

Stitch board for free quilting (can be purchased separately) - this stitch board has a hole for the needle exactly in the middle, because in free quilting you only use a straight stitch. The suture plate type 68001358, which you can find in our offer, will prevent damage to the hook, because it will perfectly hold the needle in a straight injection. Thanks to this, not only will you not damage the hook if you unnecessarily pull on the material and deflect the needle to the side during quilting, but most importantly, the stitch is accurate, the punctures are even, and you can afford to use both weak and thin needles. When quilting, we recommend special quilting needles that have better properties and prevent deviation from the axis.

Automatic upper thread tension
Manual adjustment of the presser foot pressure - normally you set the presser foot pressure on the machine to the "N" position, which is an automatic presser, but you can also adjust the presser yourself, this is a huge advantage over machines with automatic adjustment of the presser foot, as any seamstress who sews different materials. If the machine only has the so-called The automatic option of adjusting the pressure of the foot is controlled only by the simple option of stable spring pressure, which increases slightly with the height of the material. In contrast, manual presser foot pressure is excellent and commonly used by industrial machines, where you can set the appropriate pressure yourself. By manually pressing the foot, you set the pressure on the material, according to the immediate need. You can press the presser foot hard, so that the material is moved perfectly by the feeder, or you can set a light back pressure so that the material is not damaged or stops gathering under the presser foot. Simply, use the functions like on an industrial machine. In combination with IDT, you will not experience a problem.
