Gesso is a very covering finish for preparing surfaces to be painted such as canvas, cardboard, wood, etc. It improves the adhesion of acrylic or oil paint layers, and is applied on a clean, non-greasy surface.

  • Gesso is a primer for surfaces like canvas, wood, and cardboard. It enhances the adhesion of acrylic or oil paints.
  • Artist Acrylics White Gesso has a higher concentration of titanium white for better coverage.
  • Transparent Gesso preserves the original canvas color.
• Structural Gels and Mortars
  • Sand Texture Gel: Used with a knife for grainy material effects, available in 4 colors.
  • Structure Gel: High-density gel for working in thick layers, extends drying time, and adds texture.
