Spray Film Varnish matt is a universal spray for fixing and varnishing with a matt finish. It is rapidly drying and transparent and is ideal for Oil, Acrylic and tempera paintings, drawings and art prints but not for polystyrene. It will dry in an elastic manner and with a high degree of gloss. LUKAS Spray Film Varnish contains additional UV protection and remains soluble in turpentine Oil and white spirit. It won't yellow over time. A varnish is the final protective layer that protects the Oil painting from harmful influences and premature aging.

But varnishes can do even more: they help the painting to have an even surface, they give it an individual shine, they form a protective film that reduces the harmful effects of UV radiation and aggressive air components, and they protect the painting from dust, dirt, stains and stress.
