Do I need any mobile data or a SIM card inside my device to use Deeper CHIRP+ 2 or Range Extender?

• You don’t need any mobile data to use the CHIRP+ 2 or Range Extender. They will work anywhere in the world, even in areas with no mobile data or network service. A SIM card is not needed to use the sonar.

Will my smartphone or tablet work with the CHIRP+ 2 and Range Extender?

• Pretty much all modern smartphones and tablets are compatible with the Deeper. You need a smartphone or tablet with Android 8 (or newer version) or iOS 14 (or newer versions). The device also needs to have a built-in GPS.

Do I need to purchase any app subscriptions to use all the features of my Deeper?

• You don’t need to purchase any app subscriptions to use all the features of your CHIRP+ 2. There’s an optional Premium subscription that allows you to view over 86,000 fishing maps worldwide, as well as 3D and bottom hardness maps.

Will the CHIRP+ 2 work with my bait boat?

• Deeper CHIRP+ 2 together with a Range Extender can be used with any bait boat, but keep in mind that the maximum connection range between your phone and the sonar can vary based on several factors. Under optimal conditions, you can expect a strong and reliable connection of up to 200m/656 ft. For optimal performance, we recommend using them together with the Deeper Bait Boat Sonar Holder.

Does the CHIRP+ 2 scare fish in any way?

• Not at all. Fish can’t sense the ultrasound emitted by the sonar.

What’s the warranty for the Deeper CHIRP+ 2 and the Range Extender?
