A stretchy, breathable fabric that lets vapor escape, retains warmth, wicks away sweat and dries quickly.

• MOISTURE WICKING

A fabric with Moisture Wicking actively wicks sweat and humidity away from the body and lets it escape as vapor through the fabric, so you don't get cold.

• PRIMALOFT® SILVER INSULATION (80g/m²)

PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation is made from synthetic non-woven recycled polyester. It's durable and resilient. Unlike other insulation it keeps you warm even when it's wet, and it doesn't make your garment look bulky.

• ATOMIC RIPSHIELD LITE PFC FREE DWR (100% PA, 43g/m²)

A super lightweight version of our Ripshield fabric we use on midlayers. It features a special Ripstop weave that stops any little holes turning into bigger rips, and is made from 100% recycled polyester.

M BACKLAND PRIMALOFT MIDLAYER

Our Atomic M Backland Primaloft Midlayer looks cool, clean and simple on the surface – but under the surface it’s a technical piece of touring skiwear. One of the keys is body-mapping – in exposed areas like arms, chest and collar we’ve placed Atomic Ripshield Lite with PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation to keep you warm and dry. Then we’ve put breathable, moisture-wicking Atomic Thermagrid fabric in key heat zones like under your backpack to offer the stretch and breathability you need for touring. Thermagrid is also anti-bacterial Polygiene® treated, so it stays fresher for longer and needs less washing.
